第一、没有体味爱干净

柴犬相对其他狗狗而言，是比较干净的犬种之一，柴犬是短毛，没有体臭味，会自己打理毛发，出门玩也不会把自己弄得脏兮兮的，比较好打理，我们只需要日常简单给柴犬梳理下毛发，1-2周帮它洗一次澡就行了。

第二：性格独立

柴犬出身是狩猎犬，天生性格方面很独立，不会像泰迪犬那样爱粘着主人，柴犬会自己在一边玩耍，对陌生的人会保留距离，但是柴犬对待主人会很忠诚和喜爱，如果你不喜欢很粘人的狗狗可以考虑饲养一只柴犬。

第三：看家护院“小能手”

柴犬警惕性比较高也比较安静，日常生活中很少听见它吠叫，不会影响邻居之间的关系，适合城市饲养，但是如果有陌生人靠近它就会吠叫不停，提醒主人注意，能够帮我们看家护院的“小能手”。

第四：性格倔强

带柴犬到户外运动要带好牵引绳，因为柴犬和哈士奇一样，出门之后就如同脱缰的野马，转眼间就不见了，如果不带好牵引绳我们很难追上它，而且柴犬比较倔强，它不喜欢做的事很难摆动它，需要训练一下，它不完全可以听进去。需要训练时要备一些小零食

第五：嘴刁爱掉毛发

柴犬比较聪明，如果在喂养时经常给它吃人食或者一些盐分高的火腿、罐头等零食，它会不吃狗粮只吃零食的坏习惯，而且柴犬在换季的时候都会出现掉毛的情况，如果吃多了人食和零食等盐分高食物，会加重柴犬的掉毛。
